is getting “old” why not try Snowshoeing?
There are no less than 9 snowshoeing itineraries
on offer in the Bagnes valley. In Verbier
features three snowboarding areas; they are:
Le Château, Saint-Christophe and La Dent. In the
valley as a whole there are another six areas
spread out over the Valley in the vicinity of
Verbier. There are guides of you need them and
even pre-arranged helicopter excursions. These
trails all have different degrees of difficulty.

In Verbier the important
Swiss ski resort, there are many activities on
offer other than skiing.
Did you know for example that Verbier has
tremendous conditions for Para Gliding? It does
and there are courses to be had for beginners as
well as more advanced flyers. There are also a
number of take off spots in Verbier. These are
Les Ruinettes, Les Attelas (experienced flyers)
Savoleyres and La Tournelle. In Verbier flyers
can land at the Verbier Sports Center and Les
Asserts.

an altitude of 1,500 m is part of the skiing
area in the 4 Vallees, which offers over 410 km
of runs for all levels and 92 ski-lift
installations, which can all be used with a

to get theree
By car head for Martigny. The city is just a
high, winding, stretch of road away. Wind your
way from there up to the 1,500 m level, and you
can't miss Verbier. From there, Verbier is 25 to
